Don't think there's need for posting pictures of early build

 

Just recieved the new figures from Graupner... They good details... (scale 1:32-35)

 

Wheelhouse is made of styrene.

Ok... Might as well post pictures from start of this Springer project.

 

Springers are still very new in Denmark. But the clubs in Denmark is impressed by the beginner friendly design of the hull...

 

Picture 3...

The buttom is 2mm birch plywood that I glued with white wood glue. It was fixed with some small screws, which I removed after the glue was dry

The keel is made of 2 pieces of 3 mm plywood glued together, so it fits the 6mm sterntube. Then filled out the gab... Added gray primer and then brown enamel varnish.

Picture 1. Deck is a 2 mm styrene plate. The stanchions is for some kind of bulwark. I will get back to that later
