Der Erlebnissbauernhof und Hofladen "Krewelshof Eifel" (Krewelshof 1, 53894 Mechernich) besitzt auch einen eigenen Weiher. Dort sind Modellbauer während der Öffnungszeiten des Hofes ausdrücklich willkommen. Bei meinem Besuch im Mai war der Teich völlig Bewuchs-frei. Vom Parkplatz zum Wasser sind es bis zu 200m Laufstrecke, eine Karre könnte also nicht schaden.

Bei Google Maps findet ihr den Weiher hier. Achtung, der Weiher ist nur in der Sat-Ansicht sichtbar. :-)
