Rumpfschutz am Bug

Wenn man auf den Link klickt sieht man einen Nachbau der "Endeavor".

Am Bug sieht man einen helleren senkrechten Bereich, der eine zusätzliche Holzschicht zum Schutz der Bordwand war, wenn der Anker fallen gelassen oder gepentert wurde. Wie heißt dieses Teil?

Im englischen habe ich die Bezeichnung Anchor lining gefunden, bekomme aber keine sinvolle deutsche Bezeichnung dafür.
