Hievt up, Jungs von Jürgen Sindermann ist eine Kurzfassung des vergriffenen gleichnamigen Bandes. Das Buch ist ein reiner Bildband das außer einigen Sätzen in wenigen Bildern keinen Text enthält. In eindrucksvollen, ausnahmslos schwarz/weiß Bildern, wird der Alltag der DDR Hochseefischer wiedergegeben. Etwas mehr Erklärung zu den Bildern wäre wünschenswert, daher nur bedingt empfehlenswert.
