Hello,

I needed some etched parts for my model. I spent quite some time asking around at shops for any place where I could order small and detailed etching. Tough. In the end I managed to learn it myself

Here are some results:

Perhaps someone else also needs some small pieces, then you can send me a mail.

Cheers

Wow, that looks great!! Was it your first try?

At Saemann-Ätztechnik (http://www.saemann-aetztechnik.de/) you can get materials (brass plates, nickle silver plates, developer, acid and so on). They also offer a etching-service. That's what you've been looking for, ey?

As soon as I get the saw blade for my circular saw bench, I will order some brass plates and start my own tests. Hopefully they are going to be as good as yours!

Cheers, Markus

Hello Markus,

those were my beginnings. yes.

In the meanwhile I advanced a little :)

Thanks for the link. I know it.

But I have found all sources in Vienna.

Check this out, I have written small how-to based on my experiences some time ago:

And that is my next website: http://www.etchingservice.eu

I still did not upload later projects, I have some more pictures also if you need :)

I am not sure how Admin will react to that post :???:
